The Pequod Review:

Published in 1995, Conversations with Stoppard is a collection of interviews between the NYT theater critic Mel Gussow and Tom Stoppard. The interviews take place between the early 1970s (when Stoppard’s rise to fame began) and the 1990s, and they cover a diverse range of subjects including Stoppard's writing process and his intellectual inspirations. Stoppard is intelligent, witty and engaging throughout; however, these interviews will be best appreciated by those already familiar with his plays.
