The Pequod Review:

Sinner Saint is a collection of interviews, reviews and essays from the last 30 years of Nick Cave’s musical career. These are probably only of interest to serious fans, and even then they are too repetitive, but most interesting is how some of Cave’s best and most creative work occurred after he got sober and approached his art as a job – one conducted in an office that he visits from nine-to-five every day. (“I used to go six days a week, till I couldn’t stand it anymore. Now I go Sundays as well.”) The book also features an early review by Michel Faber, who would go on to an extraordinary career as a novelist.
