Those Guys Have All the Fun: Inside the World of ESPN
Rating
The Pequod Review:
Those Guys Have All the Fun is an oral history of ESPN as told through extensive interviews with the network’s anchors, writers, producers and executives. The highlights of the book come early, when Miller details the network's 1979 launch through the early 1990s glory days of Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann. From that point forward, ESPN would become a corporate behemoth — and Miller’s narrative in these sections is less able to present a cohesive picture of the network.
