The Pequod Review:

Skinny Dip is probably Carl Hiaasen's best book. A young heiress is thrown off a cruise ship by her husband Chaz, but instead of dying she latches onto a bale of Jamaican pot, gets rescued, and with the assistance of an ex-cop gets revenge on Chaz. As with all of Hiaasen's books, the plot is far-fetched, but it has a number of very funny characters who are put in farcical situations where such rules don’t apply. Fans of Donald Westlake’s comic novels will probably enjoy this, although the writing isn’t quite as sharp.
