Other People’s Money is John Kay's analysis of the modern financialization of the global economy, especially the banking system and the perhaps insufficiently-examined assumption that it contributed to the 2008 financial crisis. Kay is an intelligent journalist and the book is informative, but not always very rigorous or detailed. The history of the 2008 financial crisis has yet to be comprehensively written.
