Market Wizards is the first book in Jack Schwager’s excellent Market Wizards series. His books are structured as a series of Q&As with a variety of traders to discuss their thought processes, how they entered the business, and their trading styles. While this first book is now somewhat dated, these are some of the more useful guides to understanding what day-to-day life is actually like on Wall Street.
