The Kill Artist

The Kill Artist is book #1 in Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon series. Allon is a former Israeli agent and now an art restorer, and in cliched spy novel fashion he is reluctantly lured back into service for an important assignment. Nonetheless, the book is quite well-plotted and the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict is a more original setting than Silva's WWII-focused books.
