Hell Can Wait

The Pequod Review:
Harry Whittington wrote crime novels at an astonishing rate — at least 180 over his career — but Hell Can Wait is one of his more carefully-structured stories, about a man (Greg Morris) who seeks revenge on a wealthy drunk driver who killed his wife and cleverly framed Morris for the accident. It's an ingenious plot that steadily escalates and ends at a place far beyond what you might expect. Start here if you are new to Whittington's work.
