The Force

The Force is the story of Denny Malone, a decorated but corrupt NYC police officer who is caught and forced to decide whether to implicate his colleagues. Winslow’s writing is high-volume (think James Ellroy and then some), a style that unfortunately overwhelms an otherwise excellent narrative.
