The Pequod Review:

Olga Tokarczuk's Flights is a collection of observations, fragments, short essays, and other “moments, crumbs, fleeting configurations,” all based loosely around the themes of wandering and movement. Despite some exceptional passages, the book is overall too detached and fragmentary, and the result is less than the sum of its parts. Winner of the 2018 Booker Prize.
