The Pequod Review:

In Flashfire, Parker acts as a cross-town decoy in a Nebraska bank robbery; when the job goes wrong, Parker’s pursuit of his double-crossing associates takes him to Florida. The overall story is action-heavy — this must have more thefts than any other Richard Stark novel — and a few of Parker's decisions are implausible and out-of-character. As a result, this seems to me to be one of the weaker books in the series.
