A Flash of Green
Rating
The Pequod Review:
A Flash of Green is another story of real estate corruption, as a newspaper reporter helps a group of nefarious developers evade regulatory oversight in order to fill in Sarasota Bay. The plot also edges into environmentalism, a concern of John D. MacDonald’s that would more fully bloom in his later novels. The book was adapted for the well-received 1984 film by Victor Nunez.
