The Crime of our Lives is a review of Lawrence Block's favorite mystery/crime authors. Block bounces from writer to writer, with pieces that are sometimes insightful but usually too laudatory. In an especially odd chapter, he describes Mary Higgins Clark as a nice person but says nothing about her work.
