The Collectors

David Baldacci's The Collectors is a combination action thriller and locked room mystery, as both the Speaker of the House and the curator of the Library of Congress' rare books collection are found dead — the latter in a locked vault where it would seem nobody could have harmed him. The story has a few thrilling scenes, but too often settles for cliched and predictable plot twists.
