The Bourne Ultimatum

The Bourne Ultimatum is the third book in Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne series. In it, David Webb (aka Jason Bourne) has been tracked down by his nemesis, the international terrorist Carlos the Jackal. Webb, now married with kids and a steady teaching job, must summon his Bourne identity for a final confrontation. The book is suspenseful, but Ludlum’s formula has become tiresome with too many implausible plot developments and repetitive action sequences.
