In Animal Spirits, Robert Shiller and George Akerlof explore the Keynesian role of human psychology in driving market behavior. It is unfortunate that such a cursory and unremarkable book (by their standards) published during the 2008-09 financial crisis would become most people's introduction these two great economists.
