Absolutely American: Four Years at West Point

David Lipsky went deep for Absolutely American, spending four years on the ground observing the daily lives of cadets at the US Military Academy. When it comes to understanding and appreciating the military, there is a deep left/right divide (or perhaps an urban-creative/rural-conservative divide), and Lipsky's book more than anything is about his own personal journey from one side to the other.
