The World Beneath

Cate Kennedy brings some unexpected depth and humor to a fairly straightforward family drama (involving an itinerant father who reconnects with his troubled daughter fifteen years after leaving his pregnant wife) with her first novel The World Beneath. The books has some subtle digs at the pretentiousness of environmental activism too.
