Trailer Tramp

Trailer Tramp (1957) is one of Orrie Hitt's earliest books, a solid pulp fiction novel about a troubled young woman (Joan Baker) who runs her parent's trailer camp and navigates a series of increasingly corrupt dramas among its guests. I like Hitt's later books more, but Trailer Tramp is another well-written crime novel about lower-middle-class American life.
