The Pequod Review:

Who would have expected that after Vince Flynn (1966-2013) passed away, his well-regarded Mitch Rapp series would not only be ably continued by Kyle Mills but would actually result in a book at least as good as Flynn's? That is what happens with Total Power, the nineteenth overall book in the Rapp series and the sixth written by Mills. From start to finish it is a very strong thriller, with an entirely convincing plot that involves a terrorist plan to take down the entire US power grid. Mills's narrative follows the standard thriller formula, but he gets almost all of the details right, and Rapp (the CIA counter-terrorism agent) remains a strong character.
