The Pequod Review:

Harry Whittington (1915-1989) was one of the hardest working writers in the pulp fiction business, the author of at least 180 novels over the course of his life. A Ticket to Hell is his forty-fourth book, the story of an ex-con (Ric Durazo) who travels cross-country and accidentally intrudes upon an attempted murder in a small New Mexico town. There is a deep implausibility to many scenes, but the plot moves fast enough to glide past them.
