The Pequod Review:

Why are so few novels set in the office? They would seem to be perfect environments to explore hierarchical power struggles, petty jealousies, and frustrated ambitions. Joshua Ferris's solid debut novel Then We Came to the End is a very good recent attempt — a workplace drama set in a Chicago ad agency as the 1990s tech bubble is ending.
