Show People: Profiles in Entertainment

Show People is an excellent short collection of Kenneth Tynan’s profiles of a variety of entertainment-related figures including Tom Stoppard, Johnny Carson and Mel Brooks. These pieces are uniformly excellent but his longer book Profiles (published in 1990) is a better and more comprehensive collection.
