The Pequod Review:

Given the speed of change that is occurring in artificial intelligence and digital technology, Erik Brynjolfsson's and Andrew McAfee's The Second Machine Age (2014) will probably become out-of-date within months of its publication. But it is still a very good review of the social and economic implications of these accelerating technologies -- both for good (including significant consumer benefits) and for bad (significant workforce disruptions and potentially increasing inequality).
