Sandworm: A New Era of Cyberwar and the Hunt for the Kremlin's Most Dangerous Hackers

The Pequod Review:
Andy Greenberg's Sandworm is a sobering and unsettling account of recent Russian cyberattacks — principally the 2015-17 GRU attacks on Ukraine that had spillover effects on Western multinational companies. Greenberg's story is incredibly well-researched — he draws on not just news stories or high-level sources, but goes deep into the processes of the intelligence analysts who discovered the attack's origins — and he has a real talent for providing clear explanations of complicated technologies. Great stuff.
