The Pequod Review:

Co-authored with Lisa Dickey, Possibilities is Herbie Hancock's memoir of his life and career as a jazz musician. The book is unfortunately dull and conventional, but there are a handful of extraordinary stories – one of the best being Hancock’s European concert with Miles Davis when Hancock accidentally played a chord out of structure, and Davis instinctively responded with a trumpet chord that pulled it back in and made it all fit together.
