Ted Templeman's memoir A Platinum Producer’s Life in Music covers his long career as a producer of numerous classic rock musicians, including Van Halen, the Doobie Brothers, Eric Clapton, Nicolette Larson and Van Morrison. Templeman spends too much time on his own personal background, and most of his stories from the production room are gossipy and lack deep insight. But fans of these bands will probably enjoy the book.
