The Pequod Review:

Stelios Kouloglou is a Greek political journalist, and he brings some interesting real-world details to his Cold War-era novel Never Go to the Post Office Alone. The story involves a foreign correspondent operating in Moscow (Kevin Danaher) whose life is upended one morning in 1989 when he runs a routine errand. The book is a bit awkwardly written, but perhaps the fault lies with the translation.
