The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
Rating
The Pequod Review:
Published in 1926, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd is Agatha Christie's third novel featuring Detective Hercule Poirot. The first 35 pages of the book are a masterpiece of setting — well-written, with a wry sense of humor and promising characters — but unfortunately the rest is too plot-heavy. The plot is a decent one though.
