The Mourner

The Mourner is one of the more convoluted Parker novels, and involves the theft of a rare fifteenth-century statue coupled with Parker’s attempt to retrieve an incriminating weapon he used in an earlier crime. Meanwhile, Parker’s brutality rises to uncomfortable levels.
