Milking the Moon: A Southerner's Story of Life on this Planet
Rating
The Pequod Review:
Milking the Moon is a first-person oral history of Eugene Walter's life, full of entertaining stories of Walter's experiences as a screenwriter, novelist, actor, chef, costume designer, puppeteer, and all-around renaissance man. Books like this are useful reminders that perhaps we aren’t living and enjoying our lives on this planet as much as we could be. Katherine Clark, the editor and transcriber of the book, wisely gets out of the way and lets Walter’s voice shine through.
