The Lost Key

The Lost Key, the second book in Catherine Coulter's Brit in the FBI series, is an extremely well-plotted crime thriller. The book received virtually no serious reviews — only short blurbs from Kirkus and Publishers Weekly — and it blends in on supermarket bestseller racks with books of far lower quality, but I was gripped from start to finish.
