The Lincoln Lawyer is the first book in Michael Connelly's Mickey Haller series. Haller is about the exact opposite of Harry Bosch — he works on the other side as a defense attorney, and is more devious and conniving — but the new character gives Connelly an opportunity to launch this unique series of courtroom-based legal thrillers.
