The Pequod Review:

Christopher Hitchens's Letters to a Young Contrarian is a collection of essays directed to an imagined young reader on a variety of topics: the importance of political dissent, the function of irony, the use and misuse of language, and an overall vision of the good and honorable life. I loved this book as a college student but find it now to be a bit too simplistic.
