A History of Western Philosophy

The Pequod Review:
A History of Western Philosophy is Bertrand Russell’s best known book, an accessible and wide-ranging introduction to the history of philosophy. Naturally in a book of this scope, there are weaknesses, omissions, and errors — and Russell’s colleagues were quick to point them out — but there is perhaps no better or more engaging introductory text for general readers or younger students of philosophy. Highly recommended.
