Grief

Andrew Holleran's short novel Grief has a languorous pace and it explores its primary theme of grief in somewhat predictable ways. But I enjoyed how it juxtaposed Mary Todd Lincoln's letters with the protagonist's own experiences in modern-day Washington, D.C.
