The Pequod Review:
Gone for Good, Harlan Coben's eleventh novel, is a suburban family thriller that centers on two brothers, one of whom vanishes after being accused of a violent murder. The family assumes he has disappeared permanently, but eleven years later they discover proof that he is still alive. Coben's prose is blunt and unremarkable, but he creates well-plotted popular mystery novels that surpass most of his peers.
