Fatale

Jean-Patrick Manchette takes his spare noir style to its bleakest and most nihilistic conclusion with Fatale, as a professional female killer (Aimee) targets a backwater French town. Aimee's motives are never fully clear and the plot is simplistic, but Manchette creates an intense atmosphere in a corrupt Red Harvest-like small town setting.
