The End of Everything

Megan Abbott's fifth novel, The End of Everything, is the story of a Midwestern teenage girl who goes missing on a summer afternoon. The plot is kind of a mess, but Abbott is a solid writer and the book has a number of redolent scenes of teenage suburban life.
