The Double Flame: Love and Eroticism

Octavio Paz's The Double Flame is a collection of essays on sex, love and eroticism, and how they have been portrayed in literature. Several of the essays are ponderous and/or repetitive, but he has some good lines ("Politics is the sworn enemy of love").
