The Pequod Review:

Dance Dance Dance is one of Haruki Murakami’s more underrated books, a sequel to A Wild Sheep Chase that features the same unnamed narrator (now an unhappy PR copywriter “shoveling cultural snow,” and still chasing sheep) in a classic hardboiled thriller. Murakami is usually quite apolitical, but this book also features some of his most detailed commentary on consumerism and the Japanese work ethic.
