The Cuckoo's Calling is a fine if predictable modern PI detective novel, involving the suspicious death of a Mayfair supermodel. Robert Galbraith was later revealed to be a pseudonym of J.K. Rowling (whose pen name is a nod to the great John Kenneth Galbraith).
