The Pequod Review:

Erich Segal's sixth novel, The Class, is the story of five graduates of Harvard University's Class of 1958 as they look back nostalgically on their successful but unfulfilled lives at the time of their 25th class reunion. Segal's writing is painfully earnest, but his story is deeply personal: “Fear of death is universal. But what lies beneath that fear is the terror of insignificance. Of not being remembered, not counting.”
