The Pequod Review:

Written with Scott Armstrong, The Brethren is a behind-the-scenes review of the 1969-1975 Supreme Court terms, with a focus on the day-to-day specifics of how cases are argued and judgments are rendered. The book is too gossipy and too of-the-moment to have significant relevance to how the Supreme Court operates today, but it remains a useful historical account of the Burger and (to a lesser extent) Warren courts.
