Boy: Tales of Childhood
Rating
The Pequod Review:
Roald Dahl's memoir Boy is a collection of anecdotes and stories drawn from his childhood and adolescence. I love Dahl's fictional books -- which are not only (or even primarily) for children -- but Boy is straightforward and detached, and lacks the surreal inventiveness that made stories like The BFG and The Witches so memorable. Recommended for serious fans only.
