Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking
Rating
The Pequod Review:
Malcolm Gladwell's argument in Blink — that fast decisions are often better than cautious and deliberate ones — is interesting on the surface. However, the deeper part of our brain that recognizes the limitations and biases of our snap judgments (the one that has launched the statistical revolution in sports, the field of behavioral economics, and for that matter the Enlightenment) will find this book much less persuasive.
