Blaming the Victims is a collection of essays by Edward Said and a number of other contributors, including Christopher Hitchens, Noam Chomsky, Ibrahim Abu-Lughod, etc. The highlight is Norman Finkelstein’s devastating takedown of Joan Peters and her book From Time Immemorial, which claimed that there weren’t any Palestinians in Palestine at the time of Israel’s creation in 1948.
