The Pequod Review:
James Twining's 2006 thriller The Black Sun is the second book to feature the art thief Tom Kirk; this time, Kirk is asked by British intelligence (MI6) to investigate a series of strange crimes that may have ties to a Nazi secret society. The book has a number of suspenseful scenes, but the overall story is a mish-mash of disconnected set pieces rather than a fully cohesive novel.
